Job Overview

We are seeking a Revit Content Developer for one of our U.S. based Furniture Manufacturer clients with 3–5 years of professional experience to lead the digitization of our core product line. This role is not for a general drafter but for a technical specialist who understands the "logic" behind Revit Family creation. You will be responsible for building high-quality, intelligent parametric models that allow end-users to adjust dimensions, materials, and configurations seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

• Advanced Family Creation: Design and develop highly parametric Revit Families (RFA) for core products that are fully adaptable to various user inputs.

• Logic-Based Modeling: Utilize complex formulas, conditional statements (if/then), and nested families to ensure models maintain their design integrity when scaled.

• Type Catalog Management: Develop and link external .TXT catalog files to drive multiple product variations from a single RFA file.

• Optimization & QA: Audit models for file-size efficiency and "stress-test" all parameters to ensure the geometry does not break during user modification.

• Library Maintenance: Organize and maintain the company’s BIM content library, ensuring all assets adhere to international naming and categorization standards.

Must-Have Requirements

• Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience specifically focused on Revit Family development and BIM content creation.

• Expert Technical Proficiency: Master-level knowledge of the Revit Family Editor, including shared parameters, visibility settings, and parametric constraints.

• Mathematical Aptitude: Strong ability to apply mathematical formulas to drive parametric behavior within the Revit environment.

• Industry Standards: Familiarity with BIM standards such as LOD (Level of Development) and industry-specific guidelines.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)

• Proficiency in Dynamo for automating content creation workflows.

• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or similar content management systems.

• Knowledge of rendering and material application within Revit to produce photorealistic product views.
