Job Description

 

Scorpios Bodrum is seeking a Revenue Controlling Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the accurate recording, reconciliation, and reporting of all revenue-related transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and timely reporting to the Finance Department.

You will be responsible for managing revenue controls, monitoring financial performance, and collaborating closely with the Finance team to support daily reconciliations and reporting processes. Additionally, you will work alongside the Technology Senior Manager and the Director of IT & Business Analytics to identify, anticipate, and mitigate operational and financial risks related to revenue.

This role reports directly to the Senior Manager of Technology & Information and plays a key part in maintaining financial integrity and operational efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities

 

Pre-Opening:

Work with the Technology Senior Manager and Director of IT & Business Analytics to identify, plan, and execute financial structures for Bodrum.

Develop and implement revenue control policies, procedures, and systems to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

Establish and manage relationships with financial vendors and service providers.

Ensure seamless integration of Bodrum’s revenue processes and reporting systems into existing operations.

 

Operational:

Oversee daily revenue processes, including reconciliations, transaction approvals, and verification of all revenue streams.

Manage and oversee a team of 16 Cashier/Controlling staff, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all revenue transactions.

Identify, assess, and mitigate revenue and operational financial risks, recommending improvements to policies and procedures.

Manage the back-office tools such as Micros POS Opera, Book 4 Time, Opera PMS and Oracle systems and ensure data accuracy for revenue tracking and reporting.

Manage different financial reports, such as MSN report, petty cash, Total Sales Report, party tables & minimum spend, credit report, incident report, and discount report.

Facilitate transactions and payment processes with financial institutions.

 

Executional Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute financial policies and procedures and ensure compliance.

Coordinate with the IT department to manage hardware and software troubleshooting activities, ensuring system reliability and minimal operational downtime.

Conduct audits of financial operations to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Monitor financial performance and generate regular reports to inform executive management decisions.

Manage and administer sensitive financial data related to Scorpios' operations.

Create checklists or start and end of shift-controller duties to ensure minimal disruption of financial operations.
