We are currently looking for a Revenue Assurance Data Engineering Specialist who will provide support to Revenue Assurance (RA) activities as a data/BI engineer, including analysis and maintenance of RA software tools and systems. They will be responsible for identifying and implementing the best solutions for processing and analyzing business data to meet the needs of the business. This role requires a very good understanding of the concepts of data warehousing, data modeling, data analysis and data visualization.

What will you do:

• Deliver technical support for Revenue Assurance operations by performing in-depth data analysis and managing RA tools and software to ensure optimal functionality and accuracy.
• Design and implement controls to detect anomalies or gaps in revenue in collaboration with RA team & Data Engineers.
• Design and implement automated data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric and reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of insights.
• Coordinate with technical teams to resolve data inconsistencies & strengthen control mechanisms.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Analyze data to identify revenue leakage, discrepancies, and optimization opportunities.
• Create and maintain interactive dashboards and visual reports using tools such as Power BI to support business decision-making.
• Perform quality analysis, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data and processes used in revenue assurance. Define and monitor data quality metrics (e.g., duplication, missing values). Maintain documentation for data flows, controls, and quality checks.
• Perform trending/analytical review and conduct ad hoc analysis and research to answer complex business questions and support decision-making.

What you need to be successful:

• A BSc in Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• An MSc in a relevant field will be considered an asset.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Platforms, Data/BI Engineer
• Excellent knowledge in programming languages such as SQL, Python, Spark is mandatory.
• Experience in cloud-based data solutions preferably Microsoft Synapse, Fabric.
• Proficiency in BI platforms: Preferably in Power BI.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: Preferably Microsoft Azure, Fabric.
• Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Prior experience in the energy sector/ Telco will be considered an asset.
• Professional working experience in English.
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python), Power BI, Microsoft Azure platform
• Ability to work with large and complex datasets & translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail & aproactive mindset.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities
• Continuous learning and desire to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the field
