Are you an experienced retail manager with a genuine passion for community and a drive to achieve? We are searching for a dynamic leader to take charge of our vibrant Papakura store. This exciting Monday to Friday role offers plenty of variety and autonomy, providing you with the opportunity to make a real positive impact!

This role is permanent full time position, working 40 hours each week from 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. 

Key responsibilities include

• Overseeing and managing shop operations and stock levels
• Drive revenue growth by setting and achieving ambitious sales targets
• Actively promoting and marketing the store within the local community
• Managing and maintaining store displays, and setting the pricing of stock
• Rostering staff, leading and motivating volunteers and staff members
• Generating monthly reports and forecasting
• Cultivate a warm, welcoming environment that encourages exceptional customer service

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Solid experience in retail management, visual merchandising and an interest in second-hand goods
• Proven experience successfully managing a high-performing team 
•  A highly motivated, proactive “can-do” attitude that drives you to identify and act on opportunities for improvement
• A results-focused mindset, with a passion for success and achieving set targets
• Ability to recruit, lead and motivate volunteers
• Great relationship building skills and strong community focus
