Job Summary:
The Retail Sales Associate has the opportunity to develop great relationships with our repeat customers in addition to informing the first-time customer of everything we have to offer. The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for enhancing customer experience and sales generation in the following areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Processes sales on point of sale

• Responsible for maintaining accuracy of cash drawer

• Greets and assists guests

• Assists with fitting guests in hockey and figure skating equipment and finding correct sizes

• Sharpens skates and repairs equipment

• Assists guests with purchasing decisions

• Maintains pro-shop as merchandised

• Maintains cleanliness of all retail areas

• Applies names and numbers to jerseys with heat press

• Additional projects tasks and events assigned

Qualifications:

• Retail experience

• Familiar with hockey and figure skating equipment fittings, repairs, and sharpening

• Must be highly organized with the ability to multi-task

• Self-starter with a high degree of enthusiasm, creative vision and ability to lead in a high-stress environment

• Be able to make decisions in a fast-paced atmosphere

• Must have strong interpersonal communication skills

• Familiar with operating point of sale system

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is an hourly position. Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
