Job Description: We’re seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our team at Presbyterian Homes of GA in Athens, GA on an as needed basis (PRN). The ideal candidate is someone who works well in a team environment, detail-oriented, strong communication skills, and problem-solving skills. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Fulfills all legal and regulatory requirements, including evaluation, selection, procurement and distribution of drugs, counseling and professional consultation
Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as policies of the hospital and PharmD on Demand
Interprets physician medication orders
Represents the hospital and PharmD on Demand in a positive and professional manner
Maintains customer confidentiality at all times
Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices
Exercises sound judgment in decision-making
Interacts effectively with diverse individuals
Maintains professionalism in all situations
Uses time effectively and efficiently
Position Requirements:
Current pharmacist licensure in the applicable state(s)
Schedule Details:
On call shift one weekend per month
As needed, 1-2 shifts a quarter
