Job Description

As a Retail Media & Marketplace Consultant at KINESSO, you will play a key role in driving the growth of leading A-brands within the rapidly evolving retail media landscape. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on campaign execution to help brands succeed across retail media networks and marketplaces such as Amazon, bol, and Albert Heijn.

Working at the intersection of data, commerce, and media, you will support clients like Dyson, G-STAR and VTech in growing their digital commerce presence. You will take ownership of campaign performance, provide strategic advice to clients, and identify new opportunities to accelerate growth across retail platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Client Consulting


Develop retail media strategies for leading brands across marketplaces and retail media networks


Advise clients based on data insights, market developments, and platform innovations


Identify growth opportunities within existing client accounts

Campaign Ownership


Take end-to-end responsibility for sponsored search and display campaigns


Optimize campaigns based on performance data and insights


Structure account setups and campaign frameworks for scalable growth

Data & Insights


Translate performance data into actionable business insights


Develop reporting frameworks, dashboards, and performance analyses


Test new formats, targeting options, and AI-driven solutions

Stakeholder Management


Act as a sparring partner for clients and internal teams (SEA, SEO, Social, Data)


Maintain relationships with retail partners and marketplace platforms


Coordinate projects and monitor timelines and progress

Team Development


Support and guide junior and medior specialists


Share knowledge and best practices within the team

Desired Skills & Experience

We are looking for a consultant who combines strong executional expertise with strategic thinking.


2–5 years of experience in retail media, marketplaces, or performance marketing


Hands-on experience with platforms such as Amazon Ads, bol Retail Media, or similar retail networks


Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset


Experience working with clients and managing stakeholders


Good knowledge of Excel and data analysis tools


Strong communication skills in Dutch and English


Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset

Nice to have


Experience mentoring colleagues or leading projects


Experience with pitches or business development


Affinity with automation and AI within marketing

Campagne ownership


End-to-end verantwoordelijkheid voor sponsored search en display campagnes


Optimaliseren van campagnes op basis van performance data en inzichten


Structureren van account setups en campagneframeworks voor schaalbare groei

Data & inzichten


Vertalen van performance data naar concrete business inzichten


Opzetten van rapportages, dashboards en performance analyses


Testen van nieuwe formats, targetingmogelijkheden en AI-oplossingen
