Health Counsellor (Retail)

Location: Ottawa, ON - 2599 Carling Ave
Compensation: $19–$21 per hour (based on experience)
Employment Type: Part Time – Approx 22.5 Hours a Week

Retail Operational Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm, Saturdays 9:00 to 5:00pm, CLOSED SUNDAYS

Your Mission

Deliver exceptional in-person customer service and expert health guidance within NutriChem’s integrated retail environment. You’ll be a trusted resource for customers, offering personalized product recommendations and connecting them to clinic and pharmacy services.

What You’ll Do

Customer Experience

Greet customers warmly and provide informed, personalized guidance

Act as the primary contact for clients engaged in clinic appointments

Promote NutriChem services and recommend follow-up appointments

Address inquiries with confidence and compassion

Sales & Retail Support

Manage register operations and ensure smooth transactions

Recommend health products based on customer goals

Communicate promotions and service offerings clearly

Maintain merchandising standards and assist with inventory

Order Fulfillment

Process and fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely pickups and deliveries

Team Collaboration

Work closely with pharmacy, clinic, and lab teams

Support training for Sales Associates and promote product knowledge

What We’re Looking For

Required

Minimum 1 year of experience in retail health, wellness, or supplement-focused customer service

Strong knowledge of supplements and natural health products

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Proficiency with POS systems and retail tech tools

Preferred

Certification in holistic nutrition or related wellness discipline

Experience in pharmacy-integrated or clinic-support retail environments
