Retail Driver Assistant & Store Volunteer Howick

He aha te tūranga - About the role: 

Our Op Shop teams do fantastic work in the community selling affordable pre-loved goods, and this helps to fund our essential, lifesaving services and community initiatives.

Driver Assistant:

As a driver assistant, you will be working alongside an experienced driver to deliver pre-loved goods in Auckland. Ideally you will have a good level of physical fitness, as the role will involve lifting and moving furniture with the driver. This is not a driving role so a driver check is not required. 

Store Volunteer: 

There's plenty of variety in this role, you could be doing anything from:

• serving customers
• cash handling
• sorting donated goods
• visual merchandising
• tidying the store

This role is based at the Howick store: 7/219 Moore St, Howick, Auckland, 2014

Ko wai koe - About you:

We are seeking people who can spare 4 hours a week, ideally for at least 6 - 12 months.

We're looking for caring individuals keen to give back to their community.  Retail experience is great but not essential.  If you're keen to learn, enthusiastic and reliable, then we can teach you the skills you need.  

The recruitment process will involve:

• an interview with the store manager
• a criminal record check
