RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR POSITION
The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure excellent customer service, efficient workflow, and a positive dining experience. They supervise staff, manage shifts, and support the restaurant management team in achieving business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff during shifts
Ensure high standards of customer service are consistently delivered
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally
Assist in training, onboarding, and mentoring new employees
Monitor staff performance and provide feedback when necessary
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations (e.g., food safety standards)
Oversee opening and closing procedures
Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and table turnover
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management for stock ordering
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the restaurant
Support management in achieving sales targets and controlling costs
Requirements:
Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment (supervisory role preferred)
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
