What you’ll be doing

As the ideal candidate, you will be an ambitious and strategic account manager at a pivotal point in your career, driven by exceeding your revenue targets and constantly seeking ways to elevate your partners' performance. Your ability to build genuine relationships with restaurant owners will be your superpower—you're the person who understands that great partnerships are built on trust, service excellence, and shared success.

You must also be a team player and willing to chip in with tasks outside of the day-to-day - it’s important that we keep the ‘hands on’ ethos that has made our team what it is!

Day-to-day in this role you’ll:

• Own and grow your restaurant portfolio: Strategically manage a diverse set of venue partners, identifying growth opportunities and driving Gross Order Value (GOV) expansion through targeted upselling initiatives.

• Be the growth catalyst: Partner closely with restaurant owners and managers to understand their business needs, analyze their performance data, and co-create strategies that boost their success.

• Master the data: Leverage analytical dashboards (Looker, Power BI) to uncover performance insights, identify trends, and present compelling reports that drive decision-making.

• Collaborate across teams: Work hand-in-hand with Marketing, Operations, and other departments to execute campaigns and operational improvements that directly impact your accounts' bottom line.

• Navigate the local market: Stay ahead of market trends, competitive dynamics, and partnership opportunities in Almaty's vibrant restaurant scene.

• Nurture relationships that matter: Conduct regular partner meetings, provide exceptional service, and adapt your approach to suit each partner's unique personality and business model.

Our humble expectations

• Solid track record: 1-3 years of proven account management experience, ideally with restaurant, retail, or hospitality partners. We're looking for someone with commercial account management experience (revenue-focused, upselling, partnership growth)—not purely operational or customer support roles. A mix of commercial strategy and operational understanding is ideal.

• Commercial acumen: You understand (or are eager to master) P&Ls, revenue drivers, and how to translate data into actionable growth strategies. Even if you're still building this skillset, your analytical mindset and hunger to learn make you a strong fit.

• Upselling mindset: A natural ability to identify expansion opportunities and effectively communicate value propositions that excite your partners.

• Negotiation skills: You're comfortable diving into commercial discussions with business owners, confidently discussing terms, and finding win-win solutions. You're not afraid to have tough conversations when needed.

• Data-savvy: Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience using business intelligence tools (Looker, Power BI, or similar). You speak the language of dashboards and KPIs.

• Relationship wizard: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt your communication style—equally comfortable discussing operations with a head chef or business strategy with an owner.

• True service first: Structured, detail-oriented, and genuinely committed to your partners' success. You're the person they want on their team.

• Communication excellence: You know how to convey complex ideas clearly, both in writing and face-to-face, with stakeholders at all levels.

• Marketing mindset: You have a solid understanding of how marketing works and thrive collaborating on campaigns with creative teams. Experience in trade marketing (especially in FMCG) is a big plus—if not, your account management background combined with genuine curiosity about marketing strategy will set you apart.

• Passion for food & hospitality: A genuine love for restaurants and the ambition to help the best venues in Almaty reach their full potential.

• CRM experience: Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus—you're organized and data-driven by nature.

• Sales DNA: A demonstrated track record in sales or business development is a strong plus.

• Language skills: Fluent in Russian and Kazakh; ability to work in English
