Schedule: Evening or Night Shift (Rotating Weekends)

Compensation:

• $27.42/hr

• 2–3 years: $29.89/hr

• 4–5 years: $31.12/hr

• 6–7 years: $32.36/hr

• 9–10+ years: $33.59/hr

• 16+ years: $36.95/hr

Shift Differentials:

• Nights: +$3.25/hr

• Weekends: +$2.00/hr

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $25,000 (available for Evening and Night shifts)

Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case

Position Overview

Join our team as a Respiratory Therapist in Gainesville, FL. In this role, you will deliver high-quality respiratory care in a state-of-the-art acute care environment. You’ll work alongside a collaborative team committed to exceptional patient outcomes and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage routine and advanced respiratory care therapies and equipment

• Perform and interpret Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)

• Monitor patient responses, side effects, and medication dosages

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary care teams

• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and equipment use

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience (acute care preferred—ICU, CVICU, NICU, PICU, or Critical Care). Home care or long-term care experience considered.

• Licensure: Active Florida Respiratory Care License.

• Certifications:

• RRT or CRT (NBRC) – Required

• BLS – Required

• ACLS – Within 30 days of hire

• PALS – Within 30 days of hire

• NRP – Within 30 days of hire
