Looking for a dedicated, knowledgeable hospitality leader to join our management team at The Tahoe Edgelake Beach Club resort in Tahoe Vista, CA!
Work Type: Full-time, salaried position.
Work Schedule: Thursday-Monday.
This position requires weekend availability.
HOA Board and timeshares experience preferred.

Position Summary:
Functions as the primary strategic business leader with responsibility for all aspects of the operation, including guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, and revenue generation and delivering a return on investment. Ensures implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives with the objective of meeting or exceeding guest expectations, increased profit, and market share. Holds property leadership team accountable for strategy execution and guides their individual professional development. The position ensures all operations are leveraged and initiates independent and proactive project completion. Ensures the objectives and goals of company and property owners work together to achieve brand positioning and success. Builds owner loyalty through proactive communication, setting and managing expectations and delivering solid business results. The position is actively involved in the local community and builds strong relationships with local officials, businesses, and customers. Represents brand values in all leadership actions.
Key Duties/Accountabilities:
Oversee daily operations of the resort, ensuring all departments run smoothly and meet established standards.
Recruit, train, and supervise resort staff, ensuring high levels of service and performance.
Conduct regular evaluations and foster a positive work environment.
Address guest complaints and queries promptly, ensuring a positive experience that encourages repeat business.
Personally welcome VIP guests and anticipate their needs.
Manage budgets, forecast revenues, and control expenses to maximize profitability.
Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the resort and its services.
Oversee the planning and organization of events and promotional activities.
Attend and participate in board meetings.
Prepare for board meetings.
Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and resort policies.
Regularly review and update standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualities & Characteristics:
Advanced computer skills and aptitude for software systems.
Strong customer service orientation and skills.
Highly organized.
Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
Exceptional teamwork.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as required.
Clear, concise communication skills (verbal and written).
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field.
Several years of management experience in the hospitality industry with a strong understanding of timeshares and guest services.
HOA Board experience preferred.
