We are seeking an experienced Resinous Flooring Sales & Estimator to support commercial and industrial flooring projects in Dallas, TX. This client-facing role combines sales, estimating, and technical consultation, with a focus on delivering accurate cost estimates and recommending high-performance resinous flooring systems.
The ideal candidate has a proven background in epoxy, urethane, and specialty resinous coating systems, along with strong estimating and business development experience within the commercial or industrial construction market.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate substrate conditions, project scope, and client requirements
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial and industrial resinous flooring projects
• Perform quantity takeoffs and review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Recommend appropriate epoxy, urethane, MMA, and other resinous flooring systems based on performance criteria
• Develop competitive proposals, scope clarifications, and bid packages
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and project management teams to ensure alignment between estimates and execution
• Monitor project budgets, track job costs, and report on profitability metrics
• Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, facility managers, architects, and owners
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Dallas commercial and industrial sectors
Requirements:
• Proven experience in resinous flooring sales or estimating (commercial/industrial focus)
• Strong knowledge of epoxy flooring, urethane cement systems, coatings, and surface preparation methods
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the Dallas area
