PALCO Power Systems, A Western PA distributor of Kohler Power Systems, is seeking a Residential Service Technician for Residential Generators. Typical shift is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, but must be willing to work as business needs dictate.
Responsibilities:
Perform repairs and maintenance on generators and parts in various environments and working conditions
Safely assemble and disassemble equipment and parts according to the manufacturer's specifications
Conduct oil changes
Accurately complete service reports and provide details of completed work orders
Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age, for insurance purposes
Must have a valid driver's license
Must pass the federal/state background checks
Have a strong mechanical background
Ownership of tools required to perform repairs and oil changes, after ninety (90) days
Great customer service skills
Reliable self-starter
Team player
Basic computer skills
Preferred:
HVAC: 1 year of experience
EPA Type II certification
Electrical knowledge
Must submit a background check and drug testing
