Job Overview
As a Residential Sales Consultant, you will manage the full sales cycle—from initial inspection to project contract. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a background in home improvement sales or residential construction who thrives in a fast-paced, commission-driven environment. You will leverage a steady lead flow to help homeowners protect and enhance their most valuable asset.
Key Responsibilities
• In-Home Consultations: Meet with homeowners to conduct exterior inspections and identify repair or replacement needs for roofing, siding, and windows.
• Project Estimating: Assess project scope and prepare accurate estimates, professional proposals, and sales contracts.
• Sales Execution: Follow up on qualified leads and referrals to meet and exceed monthly sales targets and closing ratios.
• Customer Experience: Provide a consultative sales approach, educating homeowners on products, warranties, and financing options.
• Project Coordination: Ensure a seamless transition by coordinating project handoffs with the production and operations departments.
• Sales Tracking: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales progress within our CRM system.
Requirements
• Experience: Proven track record in in-home sales, residential construction, or the exterior remodeling industry is highly preferred.
• Skills: Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills with the ability to build immediate rapport with customers.
• Physical Ability: Comfortable performing exterior property inspections, including the use of ladders to inspect roofs when necessary.
• Organization: Ability to manage a high volume of leads and appointments with a detail-oriented approach.
• Licensing: Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation are required for daily travel to appointments.
