Residential Project Manager / Estimator - Custom Homes & Renovations

We are seeking an experienced Residential Project Manager / Estimator to oversee single-family home construction and renovation projects in Delta, BC. This full-time role is ideal for a professional with hands-on experience building custom single-family homes and managing residential renovations from preconstruction budgeting through final completion.

This position combines detailed estimating, client coordination, subcontractor management, and on-site oversight to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to high-quality craftsmanship standards. The ideal candidate understands residential construction sequencing, cost control, and homeowner communication within the Greater Vancouver market.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive estimates, quantity takeoffs, and proposals for single-family homes and residential renovation projects in Delta, BC
• Manage projects from design development and permitting through construction and final handover
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, inspections, suppliers, and material deliveries
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, job costs, and change orders to maintain profitability
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure workmanship quality, safety compliance, and project progress
• Communicate effectively with homeowners, designers, consultants, and internal teams to manage expectations and scope
• Review and interpret architectural and residential construction drawings accurately

Requirements:
• Proven experience building single-family homes and managing residential renovations
• Strong background in residential project management and estimating
• Solid understanding of wood-frame construction methods, sequencing, and local building codes in British Columbia
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong scheduling and cost-control skills
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting residential blueprints and specifications
• Professional, client-facing communication and leadership abilities
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
