Reports to: Director of Programming
Location: Mount Kisco, NY / Hybrid. Frequent travel within the Hudson Valley (primarily Westchester County) is required, with occasional availability needed for nights and weekends.

Description:

The Residential Energy Manager leads day-to-day administration, customer support, outreach, and partner coordination for residential clean energy programs. This role supports customers in adopting rooftop solar, community solar and energy efficiency solutions, while also managing program data, contractor relationships, and community-facing activities. The preferred candidate is also able to support customers in Spanish.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage residential program operations, including customer intake, application support, follow-up communication, and project tracking.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for residents seeking guidance on community solar, rooftop solar, energy efficiency, clean energy upgrades, and incentive programs.

• Maintain and update CRM records, customer databases, lead tracking tools, and project spreadsheets, including Salesforce and related systems.

• Coordinate with contractors, installers, developers, and partner organizations to support project progress, resolve issues, and maintain strong working relationships.

• Prepare and deliver customer-facing assessments, comparisons, presentations, and other materials that help participants evaluate clean energy options.

• Support outreach efforts through workshops, tabling events, webinars, municipal presentations, and other community engagement activities.

• Assist with marketing collateral, program communications, and educational materials to increase participation and awareness.

• Track invoices, reimbursements, partner agreements, and other administrative or financial program details as needed.

• Monitor changes in rebate, incentive, and program models and communicate updates to staff, partners, and participants.

• Contribute to program planning, continuous improvement, and strategy for expanding access to clean energy solutions, especially in underserved communities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Minimum of 2 years of prior work experience outside of internships.

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Spanish language abilities or translation experience required.

• Experience in sustainability program administration preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with CRM systems, project management tools, and standard office platforms such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

• Ability to work effectively with diverse communities, contractors, and community partners.

• Comfort with occasional evening and weekend events.

• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable, fully insured vehicle.

• Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds of materials.
