We are looking for an Architectural Drafter to support the design and documentation of custom single-family homes and high-end residential projects. This role works closely with architects and project teams to produce accurate construction drawings for both ground-up builds and residential remodels. The position is ideal for an entry- to mid-level candidate who is detail-oriented and interested in growing within residential design. This is a hands-on role within a collaborative, small-team environment focused on quality and precision.
Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings and construction documents for custom residential projects
• Support the design and drafting of ground-up homes and residential remodels
• Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings based on design direction
• Utilize Revit and/or AutoCAD to produce accurate and organized drawing sets
• Coordinate with architects and project teams to ensure drawings align with design intent and project requirements
• Revise drawings based on feedback, redlines, and client or team input
• Maintain drawing standards, file organization, and version control across projects
• Assist with permit sets and documentation required for approvals
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness
Requirements:
1–5 years of experience in architectural drafting or residential design
Experience working on custom homes or high-end residential projects preferred
Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD required
Understanding of residential construction methods, materials, and detailing
Ability to produce construction documents including plans, elevations, and sections
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in a collaborative, small team environment
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Drafting, or related field preferred
