Residential CAD Designer

Tulsa's Premier Builder, Simmon's Homes, is seeking an experienced Residential CAD Designer to join our team.  This is a great opportunity for an individual with knowledge and experience in residential drafting standards, local and regional building codes, and AutoCAD.  

Responsibilities Include:

*  Draw plot plan, floor plan, elevations, electrical plans, Stresscon drawings and submit DEQ applications for each customer

*  Draw up customer changes during or after design appointment

*  Apply for permits and send out check requests once permit is complete

*  Create braced wall documents for each house

*  Create sales flyers, furniture, floor area layouts for each new plan

*  Answer questions from sales and superintendents as needed

*  Place house plans on lots per sales requests

*  Create options for each plan and options based on customer requests

*  Create new plans

*  Miscellaneous other projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Must be able to read and create full sets of residential construction drawings with details, have knowledge of local and regional building codes, understand residential construction techniques, have 5 years of proven work experience; must be detail orientated with strong communication and organizational skills with ability to work in a growing, collaborative, fast-paced environment.
