We are hiring a Residential AV & Smart Home Integration Technician in West Allis, WI to join our growing team. This role is hands-on and focuses on installing, programming, and maintaining custom residential audio/video and smart home systems. Candidates should have experience with Control4, Crestron, Savant, or similar platforms and enjoy creating seamless, high-quality technology experiences for homeowners.
This position is based in West Allis, WI. The ideal technician combines technical expertise with strong client-facing skills, ensuring every installation is precise, reliable, and tailored to the homeowner’s needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Install and integrate residential AV systems, including home theaters, distributed audio, smart lighting, and security devices.
• Program and configure Control4, Crestron, Savant, or comparable home automation platforms.
• Execute whole-home audio, video surveillance, WiFi networking, and automation installations with accuracy.
• Mount TVs, assemble racks, run wiring, and terminate low-voltage cabling correctly.
• Test, troubleshoot, and optimize systems for flawless operation.
• Guide clients on system use, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with project managers and colleagues to ensure projects in West Allis are completed on time and meet quality standards.
Requirements:
• Hands-on experience with residential AV systems and smart home integration (Control4, Crestron, Savant, or similar).
• Proficiency with low-voltage wiring, networking, and system configuration.
• Ability to read installation plans, wiring diagrams, and technical layouts.
