Residential AV & Smart Home Integration Technician

We are seeking a Residential AV & Smart Home Integration Technician to install, program, and service custom audio/video and automation systems in Milwaukee, WI. This hands-on role focuses on residential control system integration, whole-home audio/video, and networking solutions, ensuring homeowners enjoy seamless and high-quality technology experiences.

The ideal candidate has experience with residential AV and smart home platforms, such as Control4, Crestron, or Savant, and is comfortable working directly in clients’ homes. In Milwaukee, WI, you will be responsible for professional installation, system configuration, and on-site troubleshooting while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities

• Install and integrate residential audio/video systems, including home theater, TVs, distributed audio, and smart home devices
• Program and configure Control4, Crestron, or similar home automation platforms
• Perform whole-home audio, video surveillance, WiFi networking, and automation installations
• Mount TVs, install racks, run wiring, and terminate low-voltage cabling accurately
• Test, troubleshoot, and fine-tune systems to ensure proper operation
• Provide in-home client guidance on system use, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to deliver projects on schedule and to high quality standards

Requirements:
• Hands-on experience with residential AV systems and smart home / CI integration (Control4, Crestron, Savant, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of low-voltage wiring, networking, and system setup
• Ability to read system diagrams, installation plans, and layouts
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for Milwaukee, WI area projects
• Professional, client-facing communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
