New Day Recovery located in Niles is looking to hire a Resident Monitor for our Detox and residential facilities. This role would be responsible for providing client assistance in daily living, crisis intervention and other services to assist the client in the treatment process.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Under direction, ensure that the activities of this position and relevant programs are consistent with the mission, vision and values of New Day Recovery.
Attend to the needs of the clientele while assisting their engagement in daily living.
Respond and interact with clients and staff professionally, treating them with respect and dignity.
Answer phones.
Assist with Client Intakes.
Complete rounding.
Collaborate with medical staff and other treatment personnel.
Facilitate discharges and complete discharge documentation.
Requirements:
Combination of experience and education normally represented by High School Diploma with 1-2 years relevant work experience is preferred.
Knowledge of computers and familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
Must be 18 years of age.
Valid Driver’s License

Must demonstrate the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently.
Possess and demonstrate exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Must demonstrate the ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment customarily and regularly in significant matters.
Must demonstrate the ability to relate with empathy and sensitivity to staff, clients, and the community.
Certifications:
CPR/First Aid - On Job training if needed
