Job Summary
The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) will be responsible for managing day-to-day patient care, monitoring oncology patients, coordinating with consultants and nursing teams, handling medical emergencies, and ensuring smooth clinical operations within the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct regular assessment and monitoring of admitted patients.
• Attend and manage medical emergencies and escalate critical cases to consultants timely.
• Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and allied departments for effective patient management.
• Maintain proper documentation of patient history, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Assist consultants during rounds, procedures, and patient evaluations.
• Review investigation reports and communicate abnormalities to the concerned consultant.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection control practices, and clinical guidelines.
• Provide compassionate communication and support to patients and their families.
• Ensure proper clinical handover during shift changes.
• Support implementation of NABH and quality standards wherever applicable.
Eligibility Criteria
• MBBS from a recognized medical college/university.
• Valid NMC/State Medical Council Registration.
• 0–5 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Experience in Oncology/Hospital/IPD setup will be an added advantage.
