Located in the heart of vibrant Darling Harbour, Novotel & Ibis Sydney on Darling Harbour form the flagship, 781-room multi-brand complex in one of Australia’s busiest CBDs. This is an ideal role for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume operation and is ready to step up confidently into a broader role with a defined development pathway. 

Reporting to the Director of Finance and working within a dynamic highly experienced team, you will play a critical role in driving financial discipline, operational efficiency, internal controls and strategic insights across the business. This position suits someone who understands hotel operations and wants to influence performance - not just report on it.

• Respond to phone calls, emails, and messages from customers regarding reservations and inquiries.
• Assist customers in selecting appropriate options based on their needs and preferences.
• Input and update reservation details accurately in the system.
• Provide information about available services, promotions, and special offers.
• Modify or cancel reservations as needed, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, front desk) to meet customer needs.
• Handle complaints and resolve issues in a professional, courteous manner.
• Maintain an organized and up-to-date record of customer interactions and bookings.

Follow company policies and procedures regarding reservations and payments

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in reservation software and systems (training provided).
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts if needed.
• Positive attitude, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-first mind set.
