Roles & Responsibilities :
For this profile, the focus is set on numerical modeling and simulations for Multiphysics problems which are of great importance for proper long-term functioning of Bosch products.
• At a top level the focus of this role would be towards implementing strategies for cross-scale description of the interaction of multi-phase fluids and metals in the direction of electrochemistry and fluid dynamics.
• You will need to leverage your profound knowledge of numerical methods and algorithms for solving PDEs to solve 2D/3D multi-physics models using numerical techniques along with the requisite scripting and programming.
• You’ll parameterize and validate models with available data using optimization methods and multivariate statistics.
• For certain modelling tasks you’ll combine physics-based models with data-based approaches for efficiency and accuracy gains. This is not the focus of this role, but good to have skill and might me sparingly useful.
• You will work in international teams and perform necessary development / implementation tasks to accomplish the research goals.
