About the position: As the Research Technologist, you will assist with experiments by performing standard laboratory procedures and maintain basic laboratory operations by working to prepare biological samples, handle research reagents, operate instrumentation, and collect data while adhering to Good Laboratory Practices.
What you'll do:
• Follow standard laboratory procedures as directed by senior researchers
• Maintain proper operation and documentation of laboratory equipment
• Maintain inventory and documentation of laboratory reagents
• Collect, record, maintain, and summarize experimental data
• Participate and contribute to meetings and planning of experiments
• Actively learn and engage with new approaches/technologies as required
• Other duties as assigned
You should have:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline
Experience: 1-2 years of bench laboratory experience
Other Requirements:
• Proficient use of Windows Office suite of software
• Understands universal precautions & safety protocols
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects with varying/changing timelines
• Ability to prioritize workload
• Highly accurate with attention to details
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, onsite at the main office in Little Rock, Arkansas.
