Location: London
We're a little biased, but we think our company is one of the most exciting AI start-ups in London right now. Why? Because we're adding a whole new letter to the field... A*E*I... Artificial Emotional Intelligence.
We're growing quickly and we're backed by Europe's leading start-up accelerator, Entrepreneur First, as well as the founders of Metaswitch and Ustwo.
Our company was founded by scientists and engineers. You'll be joining our already technical team working at the intersection of neuroscience, physiology, and machine learning. We're a small team, so you'll need to be diverse in your work patterns at the beginning. But this also means that there will be many exciting challenges, personal development, and the opportunity to forge your own projects within the company.
At a high level, you'll be focussed on the following:
·Machine learning on big data. The first version of our software is live on devices across the world. This means biometric data on our servers. With 50,000 subjects in our database (and growing), you'll be sinking your teeth into a nice big data pie.
·Collaborative research with academia. Did I mention we're founded by scientists? We have research ongoing with universities in London and aim to publish our results. You will be leading projects and authoring papers.
·Developing our core algorithms. We're creating something novel, and your expertise will help drive this. From feature extraction to model selection and hyper-parameter tuning, you will be finding emotion in the noise.
·General innovation. We care deeply about intellectual culture in our company. We all have the same goals, and we all get a say in how best to achieve these. Get creative!
