UiPath is in search of a Research Intern to join our Summer internship program in London, UK. We are looking for incredibly motivated, driven and innovative individuals who are excited to join our fast-growing teams. In this program, you will be supported by managers, mentors, and a global class of interns.

What You’ll Do at UiPath (Research Intern)

• Assist in the research and development of machine learning models.

• Read, understand, and discuss research papers with your mentor and team, and help experiment with new ideas or model improvements.

• Implement and evaluate machine learning models using modern ML frameworks.

• Contribute to ongoing research projects and exploratory investigations under guidance from senior researchers.

• Collaborate with applied scientists and engineers to understand how research transitions into real-world AI/ML products.

• Stay up to date with recent advances in machine learning and AI and share learnings within the team.

• Present your work internally and potentially contribute to research publications or submissions.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• Currently pursuing a Master’s (MSc) or PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.

• Strong interest in machine learning research.

• Solid foundation in linear algebra, probability, and statistics through coursework or research experience.

• Experience programming in Python, with familiarity in at least one modern ML framework such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.

• Ability to work on open-ended research problems with mentorship and feedback.

• Good communication and collaboration skills, and comfort working in a research-focused team environment.

Depending on the needs of the business and the role, the number of hybrid, office-based, and remote workers will vary from team to team.
