About the opportunity: Measure, quantify, and benchmark acoustic response for audio products, devices, and electronic components Define target curves representing sound quality for audio devices Tune system response for audio products Design and simulate audio-related technology (i.e. Artificial Intelligence) Build POC, prototypes and working models Build and maintain database repository for the business Data analysis Responsibilities: Test audio products and devices Conduct scientific research on acoustic-related technologies (i.e. spatial audio) Organize and maintain database Assist the acoustic team with setting up tests, audio tuning, and data analysis Education Currently enrolled in bachelor’s or master’s degree electrical engineering, Acoustics Experience and skills needed: Understand standard methods for measuring and analyzing audio devices Hands-on experience with audio analyzers, headphone measurement fixtures, couplers, and microphones Experience tuning headphones and other integrated audio systems Experience using Matlab, Python, or equivalent for audio signal analysis, system modeling, and data visualization Knowledge of psychoacoustics and sound quality evaluation The pay range for this position is $28 to $37 per hour (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
