The Reznikov Laboratory within the Department of Bioengineering, Faculty of Engineering, is seeking a short-term, full-time Research Assistant 2 to contribute to a research project titled Multiscale 3D Imaging of Bones
Main responsibilities:
• Preparation of cadaveric phantoms for clinical-grade and research-grade microcomputed tomography imaging
• 3D image registration and segmentation
• Design and training of generative adversarial neural networks for enhancement of low-resolution 3D images
• Analyze and interpret research data; disseminate results; and prepare research reports and manuscripts
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Engineering (preferably Biomedical Engineering)
• Hands-on experience in human gross anatomy
• Experience with 3D microcomputed tomography imaging
• Strong object-oriented programming skills
• Experience in deep neural network design and training
• Excellent command of English
Expected start date: April 1 2026
Expected end date: Aug 31 2026
Full Time: 40h per week
