Position Summary:
The Research Assistant 1 assists the research team in conducting research projects and as required, is responsible for the functional supervision of the Undergraduate/Graduate Research Assistant.
Qualifications:
MSc in Public Health or relevant field. Prior experience with qualitative research (coding, analysis, interpretation) preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, leads the revision of a qualitative research manuscript and participates in the execution of research projects within the research team. Performs a variety of research and administrative tasks according to established methodology. Conducts literature reviews and contributes to writing research articles, conducts qualitative data analysis, and contributes to other research projects and administrative tasks as needed.
• Conducts research projects using established protocols, processes and procedures and with minimal or no supervision.
• Analyzes and interprets research data and disseminates the results. Writes research reports.
• Writes theoretical or methodological reports, papers or articles related to research activities.
• Responsible for the quality and results of their own work.
• Performs various administrative tasks related to the project.
