Role Overview
The Research and Outreach Specialist will assist in accelerating the growth of our artist partnership pipeline. This role is integral to scaling our outreach efforts by researching potential artist leads, drafting personalized outreach emails, and supporting follow-up communication with our partnership team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales or outreach, ideally in the music industry, and will be comfortable working in a volume-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Research and qualify artists based on social engagement rates (minimum of 2%) and upcoming tour schedules.
• Draft and send outreach emails to potential artist partners, utilizing proven templates and following best practices.
• Review and verify artist tour schedules to ensure timely and relevant follow-up.
• Support the partnership team in managing the artist pipeline, ensuring that no leads fall through the cracks.
• Assist in identifying new potential leads and opportunities for partnership growth.
• Maintain accurate tracking of outreach and responses, improving the process for scalability.
Requirements:
Experience:
• At least 1-2 years of sales, outreach, or research experience.
• Previous experience in the music industry or working with artists is highly preferred.
• Understanding of social media engagement and the importance of tour schedules in partnership outreach.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for different artist profiles.
• Comfortable working with outreach tools and CRM systems.
• Ability to research and analyze artist profiles and engagement metrics.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in tracking and follow-up.
• Proactive attitude with a desire to grow within the role.
