Research and Development Manager

Responsibilities:

• Support, contribute and promote a safe work environment.

• Organize and establish the company's R&D process.
• 组织和建立公司研发流程
• Responsible for building R & D team, and organize the completion of various technical standards and documents for company products
• 负责研发团队建设，组织并完成公司产品所需要的各种技术标准及文件。
• Continuously explore the application of new materials, new design technologies, etc., and develop technical and process expertise to ensure that the design is technologically competitive
• 不断探索新材料、新设计技术等的应用，开发技术和工艺专门技术，以确保设计具有技术竞争力
• Technical Support -Provide technical support for sales activities to win new business.  Providing general technical assistance to the company internal teams, and external sub-contractors and suppliers including assembly training and failure/issue analysis.
• 技术支持-为公司销售活动提供技术支持，以赢得新业务，并向公司内各部门、公司外部分包商和供应商提供常规技术支持，包括装配培训和故障/问题分析。
• Promote design standardization, including materials, product structure, product standards, etc.
• 设计标准化工作推进，包括材料、产品结构、产品标准等。
• Understanding of customers’ specifications and requirements to ensure technical proposals can be written.
• 正确理解客户规范和要求，确保能够编写技术建议书。
• Detailed Design – creation of full manufacturing information for new products with generation of associated supporting documentation such as tolerance studies, FMEA, DFM, FEA ,design review, package design etc..
• 产品的详细设计 – 基于诸如公差分析, FMEA, DFM, FEA,设计评审，包装设计等设计活动的分析，整合和配套，创建适用于新产品生产的制造工程文件
• Concept Development – correct interpretation of customer specifications and requirements enabling generation of technical proposals.
• 概念设计方案 – 积极消化，正确理解客户需求，规范等输入信息，提出可行的技术设想
• Provide design engineering support for the development of customized Connector products.
• 为客户定制类产品提供强有力而高效的工程技术支持
• Research and Development – to explore new technologies appropriate for continual development.
• 研究和开发 – 不断探索新的技术或趋势以适应产品发展的需要
• Technical Administration – to create and maintain design information to ISO standards.
• 技术管理 – 基于ISO质量体系创建关于技术管理的相关内容
• Develops technology and process know-how to ensure designs are technologically competitive.
• 不断发展技术及工艺的经验数据资料库以确保设计具有竞争性
• Participate and contribute to team training, development, mentoring and audits.
• 积极参与和服务于培训，员工发展，导师和审计等团队
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with company policies.

Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• University Degree in either Mechanical or Electrical engineering (Graduate Degree preferred).
• 机械或电气类专业本科以上学历 （研究生毕业优先）
• Strong team management and leadership skill to ensure the successful development of electronic components or systems for commercial aviation and rail applications
• 优秀的团队管理和领导力，确保成功开发应用于商业航空和铁路的电子元件或系统。
• Strong communication skills and budgeting ability and creativity
• 优秀的沟通能力，预算能力和创新能力
• Understanding of Product development process in related Aero industry. (5+ years of practical experience in design of electronic components).
• 熟悉航空航天连接器、线缆组件和EWIS相关产品开发流程 （有5年以上相关设计经验优先）
• Detailed knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, molding and assembly techniques (including crimping, soldering and high current /coax/twinax/quadrax wire termination).
• 精通连接器制造流程或工艺诸如机加，注塑和装配技术（压接，焊接，大电流/同轴/双同轴/四同轴接线等）
• Competent in use of 3D/design tools and PDM (for example: Solidworks, Autocad)
• 熟练使用3D,2D和PDM等相关设计软件(如Solidworks, Autocad等)
• Understanding of basic transmission line theory and the design requirements for RF and high-speed signal transmission.
• 熟悉数据传输的基本原理以及理解RF及其他高速数据传输的设计要求
• Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis utilizing standard problem-solving tools and methodologies.
• 擅于使用各种标准的工具和测量方法做根本失效原因分析；
• Knowledge of material properties and the ability to undertake materials selection activities
• 了解各类材料的特性并基于此做出合理的材料选择
• Excellent written and verbal communication in both Mandarin Chinese and English
• 良好的中文普通话听读写能力，良好的英语读写能力
