Job Description

Role Purpose

Design, lead, and execute the innovation and development strategy for animal nutrition additives, ensuring that scientific solutions are translated into competitive, sustainable, and scalable advantages.
This role bridges science, business, and production, bringing innovation from the laboratory to the plant and ultimately to the market.

Key Responsibilities

1. Innovation Strategy and Management

Define the business’s technological roadmap, aligned with market trends, sustainability goals, and industry regulations.

Prioritize R&D projects with high technical, economic, and commercial impact.

Promote a culture of applied scientific innovation across the organization.

2. Product Research and Development

Lead the design, formulation, and continuous improvement of animal nutrition additives.

Develop and validate new ingredients and processes based on chemical, biotechnological, and food engineering principles.

Supervise laboratory, pilot plant, and field trials to ensure product efficacy and stability.

3. Scale-up and Technology Transfer

Coordinate the transfer of new developments from laboratory to production scale

Design industrial scale-up protocols ensuring reproducibility, quality, and efficiency.

Collaborate with operations and quality teams to optimize processes and reduce costs.

4. Scientific and Regulatory Collaboration

Build partnerships with universities, research centers, and technology partners.

Stay up to date with regulations and standards applicable to feed ingredients and additives.

Profile Requirements

Education: Professional degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.

Postgraduate (preferred): Specialization or Master’s in Formulation, Biotechnology, Applied Chemistry, or Animal Nutrition.
