About the team/Practice Area
The Aftermarket & Digital Retail practice within Frost & Sullivan’s Mobility team helps OEMs, suppliers, distributors, and digital platforms navigate structural shifts across parts, service, and mobility ecosystems. The team delivers data-driven insights, strategic frameworks, and growth opportunities across traditional and emerging aftermarket models. Engagements span market intelligence, growth strategy, and go-to-market advisory across global regions.
About the Role
This research role is critical in enabling high-impact client engagements by transforming complex market data into actionable insights for aftermarket and digital retail stakeholders. The position supports Frost & Sullivan’s thought leadership and consulting initiatives by ensuring analytical rigor, content excellence, and seamless collaboration across global teams.
The role involves market analysis, content development, and stakeholder coordination across aftermarket, digital commerce, and mobility themes. The individual will work closely with global experts to support research deliverables, client presentations, and strategic projects.
Responsibilities
Develop high-quality research content, presentations, and insights related to aftermarket, digital retail, and mobility trends
Analyze market data, competitive landscapes, and business models to support strategic recommendations
Collaborate with global teams of subject-matter experts to deliver integrated and impactful customer experiences
Contribute to ongoing thought leadership, dashboards, and market intelligence initiatives
Example: Manage key stakeholders by sector/practice area to ensure expectations are met/exceeded, timelines are heeded
Develop excellent quality content
Work with a global team of experts to create powerful customer experience
Required Competencies
We’re looking for candidates who -
Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (preferably automotive/mechanical), master’s in business administration, or a related discipline
3 to 4 years of total experience in the automotive industry or in market research roles in the mobility industry
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize data into insights
Demonstrate excellent written and visual communication skills for client-facing content
Show familiarity with automotive aftermarket, digital retail, e-commerce, or mobility ecosystems
Are comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-driven, global consulting environment
Exhibit strong stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration capabilities
Are Well-organized and detail-oriented
Take ownership to work independently with remote supervision
Can multi-task and meet tight deadlines
Are disciplined and adhere to high-quality standards
Is a strategic thinker; understands how operational activities are vital in supporting the overall strategy of the business
