We are looking for an experienced Requirements Manager with a strong systems engineering background to support safety-critical programmes in Bristol. The role focuses on managing, structuring, and controlling requirements across complex engineering systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain requirements across the full systems lifecycle

Ensure requirements are:

• Clear, traceable, and verifiable
• Aligned with system design and stakeholder needs
• Lead requirements reviews and support technical decision-making
• Work closely with systems, design, and delivery teams
• Support compliance with engineering standards and project governance

Required Skills:

• Strong systems engineering background
• Proven experience in requirements management
• Experience working in safety-critical or regulated environments (defence, aerospace, nuclear, rail, etc.)
• Eligible for UK Security Clearance

Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.

Desirable Skills:

• Requirements enrichment experience (breaking down high-level requirements into detailed, usable system requirements)
• Experience using requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS, Polarion, Jama)
