Role : Senior Oracle Developer ( Analyst) 

Location: Chevy Chase MD 

Locals ONLY to DC/MD/VA ,F2F is required 

Visa Status: GC EAD /GC and US Citizens only (Candidates who can work directly with USM )

Candidates MUST have 9/10 comm skills. NO LESS THAN THAT.  

Must haves: 

1. Oracle 11g, 12c preferred 

2. Experience writing Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code

3. Cultural fit-MUST have good communication, articulate well and be personable 

** Web Technologies highly preferred (web services, JSON, Angular JS, ORM)**

** Prefer non-government. Rather have someone from the private sector that has a more diverse background**

Oracle Developer  

The developer duties include interacting with the functional, technical and management community to assess functional requirements, assist with product design/configuration, develop technical solutions as needed for problems that arise or enhancements, test and debug code changes, and assure all modifications are properly documented and migrated from development to test to production environments. In addition, the developer will troubleshoot and provide a solution to remedy the production issues that occur and provide functional and/or technical system expertise to stakeholders.

REQUIRED: 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field preferred;

• 8 years of working with the software development lifecycle, including system analysis, design, development, testing, debugging, documentation, training, deployment, post-production support

• Experience with Oracle 11g database

About the Role

• Knowledge of and experience with Oracle 11g/12c database features and database objects.

• Read and write intermediate to advanced Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code.

• Experience building custom transactional database applications.

• Investigate and identify data sources and lineage.

• Willing to support and understand multiple existing applications and schemas.

• Experience with Oracle Application Express, ELT via database links, Virtual Private Database, TOAD, consuming web services from the database is a plus.

• Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders, end-users, and maintain excellent work relationships.

• Understanding of web technologies is a plus (web services, JSON, Angular JS, ORM).

• Supporting and interacting with front-end web developers
