Renewable Energy Project Engineer

In Poland, we opened our first office in February 2021 in Tychy. We currently have offices in three locations: Tychy, Kraków, and Poznań, and our team consists of nearly 200 people. 

Segula supports its clients in carrying out a wide range of projects in the automotive, aerospace, rail, maritime, energy, and other industries. In Poland, we currently work primarily with the automotive and rail sectors. • Technical Design & Optimization: Oversee multi-disciplinary engineering plans (Civil, Electrical, Structural) with a focus on maximizing system yield and minimizing LCOE.
• Grid Integration: Lead the technical interconnection process, managing relationships with utilities and ensuring compliance with evolving grid codes.
• EPC Coordination: Act as the primary technical point of contact for EPC contractors, conducting design reviews and ensuring QA/QC standards are met on-site.
• Technology Integration: Implement advanced solutions including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), SCADA platforms, and performance-monitoring Digital Twins.
• Permitting & Compliance: Support the project development team in securing technical permits and meeting environmental and ESG regulatory requirements.

• Degree in engineering, renewable energy, or related field.
• Minimum of 2/3 years of experience in renewable energy project management.
• In-depth technical knowledge of solar, wind, and energy storage systems.
• Excellent project management and team coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel to Italy on business (1–2 weeks per month)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Italian/Polish. 
• Advanced IT skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint. PowerBI is an advantage but not mandatory.
