Remote Structural Design Engineer

As a Remote Structural Design Engineer at Uptalent.io, you will have the opportunity to work for an award winning structural engineering firm providing design services for architects, developers, contractors and owners.. Drawing on your knowledge of engineering principles and best practices, you will work to ensure the safety and efficacy of each project, from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Design structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, wood and glass structures
• Analyze gravity and lateral load resisting systems
• Design and detail structural elements •
• Create drawings and communicate with Drafting and BIM Department •
• Coordinate drawings with other disciplines (Architects, MEP Engineers, etc.) •
• Respond to RFI’s and review shop drawings

Requirements:
• Master’s degree or 5 year equivalent degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering
• Good structure behavior intuition
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team
• Strong organizational skills
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
