Responsibilities
Experience Level:
• At least 5+ years in a project architect role.
• Demonstrated experience leading full project lifecycles for U.S.-based projects.
Core Responsibilities:
• Oversee project design intent through all phases (SD–CD–CA).
• Manage project documentation and ensure coordination among all consultants.
• Lead technical and code compliance reviews.
• Serve as the main point of contact for client and internal team coordination.
• Supervise job captains and production staff; ensure quality control.
• Provide construction administration support (RFIs, submittals, ASIs, etc.).
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on California projects.
• Proficient in architectural software, such as Revit (mandatory), Autocad and SketchUp.
• Strong understanding of California building codes, zoning laws, and regulations.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Able to align to California office hours (PST)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present designs and concepts effectively.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating with a virtual team.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken); proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
• A portfolio demonstrating your architectural work, especially California-based projects.
