Uptalent.io is seeking a Remote Pre-Engineered Metal Building Detailer to join our dynamic team which specializes in providing innovative solutions for the construction industry. In this role, you will collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to create detailed drawings and specifications for pre-engineered metal buildings. Your expertise will help ensure that our designs meet client requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Create accurate and detailed fabrication drawings for pre-engineered metal building systems using CAD software.
• Review project specifications, architectural designs, and structural drawings to ensure precision in detailing.
• Coordinate with other design professionals to address potential design conflicts and integrate solutions.
• Prepare material lists and project documentation for fabrication and construction.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, industry standards, and client specifications.
• Work collaboratively with the engineering team to optimize building design for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Detailer with a focus on pre-engineered metal buildings.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla, or similar).
• Solid understanding of structural design principles, building codes, and industry standards.
• Attention to detail and exceptional technical drawing skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
