Seeking a developer to lead Magento Platform based development, customization, maintenance, and troubleshooting across multiple websites. This position requires strong software development and architecture skills, strong knowledge of PHP, Zend, and the Magento Enterprise Ecommerce platform.
• 8+ years developing web sites; back end integration
• 4+ years hands on experience with Magento
• 6+ years of PHP 4/5
• 6+ years ecommerce experience
• 4+ years’ experience with Zend Framework
• Solid understanding of OOP
• Knowledge and demonstrated usage of design patterns
• Advanced understanding of standard front end development technologies: HTML5, CSS2.1/3, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, AJAX, XML, SOAP, WSDL
• Demonstrated professional development experience with Web Services frameworks and RESTful API standards
• Intermediate to advanced understanding of Linux
• Intermediate to advanced understanding of MS-SQL and/or MySQL
• Excellent grasp of database design and normalization rules
• Experience using a Code/Version Control software such as GitHub, SVN, or CVS
• Direct experience working in Agile software development methodology
• Good understanding of Web analytics and SEO techniques
• Experience extending or customizing existing products/frameworks such as Drupal or Magento
• Strong debugging skills with the ability to reach out and work with internal and external stakeholders to solve complex problems
• Problem solving and time management skills
• Experience with integrating with an ERP/CRM preferred
