Job Description

We are assisting a residential design firm based in the Bay Area, California, in identifying a reliable and experienced Design Support Specialist to collaborate on a range of U.S.-based residential projects. This role is focused exclusively on SoftPlan, and candidates must have prior experience using this software in a professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Use SoftPlan daily to assist in the production of residential design deliverables.
• Create and modify floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D models.
• Generate construction documents and print-ready drawing sets directly from the model in real time using SoftPlan.
• Collaborate directly with the client to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.
• Follow clear instructions and produce high-quality work with minimal oversight.

Requirements:
• Proficiency in SoftPlan (this is the ONLY software used)

• Prior experience in U.S. residential design projects.

• Ability to work independently and manage tasks without frequent follow-ups.

• Strong understanding of architectural drafting and construction documentation.

• Familiarity with SoftPlan Cloud, and ability to work with tools like Google Drive or Dropbox for file sharing.

• Good communication skills; comfort using Zoom or Google Meet. Willingness to use Slack or Teams if needed.

• Fluency in English (B2 minimum)
