Release Management with Unix, Source Code Management, Deployment

• You will be collaborating with teams across Operation & Development to review deployment requirement & planning across environments.
• You will be responsible for establishing deployment plans including all tasks, schedule, resources and dependencies.
• Provide guidance to various application teams to ensure on time documentation & submission for detailed deployment Plan.
• Review detailed deployment plan for all stakeholders and drive required inputs and approvals.
• Coordinate Deployment activities & execution with defined Entry & Exit criteria.
• Ensure Rollback Plan availability.
• Partner with offshore manager to ensure offshore support and delivery is consistent and effective.
• Act as an escalation point when needed by Customer Deployment\Release Team
• Manage situation escalations and provide management support and guidance required to achieve breakthroughs and removal of road blocks to resolve situations.
• Drive efforts to improve overall production system stability and availability.
• Good understanding of Javascript
• Familiar with Java, Apache Tomcat, APIs, Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu Server) Windows Server 2008, Certificates, and MySQL
• Proven track record in working with JIRA/Confluence migrations and upgrades (both major and minor)
• Plug-in development for Atlassian applications
• Excellent debugging, problem solving and process implementation skills
• Knowledge of Agile methodology

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
