G MASS are partnering with a leading global investment bank to appoint a senior regulatory reporting specialist to drive delivery across EMIR 3.0 and MiFID / MiFIR reporting change initiatives. This is a high-impact role within a complex, multi-regime environment, working closely with Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams to ensure regulatory obligations are met with a strong focus on data quality, accuracy, and control.
The successful individual will bring deep expertise in regulatory reporting frameworks, gap analysis, and remediation, playing a key role in identifying and addressing areas of non-compliance while aligning approaches across regulatory regimes. This role requires a hands-on SME who can operate across multiple concurrent workstreams, enhance reporting processes, and ensure outputs stand up to regulatory scrutiny within a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
• Lead delivery of regulatory reporting changes across EMIR 3.0 and MiFID / MiFIR
• Perform gap analysis and uplift assessments, identifying areas of non-compliance or risk
• Ensure strong focus on data quality, reporting accuracy, and reconciliation
• Identify and remediate gaps across existing programmes, including workstreams that may be under-scoped or overlooked
• Work closely with Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams to define and implement required changes
• Support regulatory readiness and auditability, ensuring outputs meet regulatory scrutiny
• Act as a bridge across regulatory regimes, helping align approaches and reduce fragmentation
Requirements:
• Strong experience as a Regulatory Reporting SME, with deep knowledge of EMIR and MiFID / MiFIR
• Background in investment banking / capital markets (strongly preferred)
• Experience in Compliance, Business Analysis, or hybrid BA/PM roles
• Proven track record delivering gap analysis, remediation, and regulatory uplift programmes
• Strong understanding of reporting data, controls, and reconciliation frameworks
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams, from larger programmes to smaller change initiatives
• Confident engaging stakeholders and driving delivery in a fast-paced environment
