About the role
The Regulatory Reporting Officer will be responsible for the following tasks:
Responsible for the preparation of BSP, PDIC, and SEC regulatory returns (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual submissions)
Ensures that internal controls are in place to ensure timely and accurate reporting and minimize compliance risk
Assists in the completion of requirements for statutory and regulatory audits
Helps monitor compliance with various regulatory metrics such as CAR, LCR, NSFR, BLR, among others
Contributes to the month-end closing process to ensure all transactions are recorded properly and necessary adjustments are booked in a timely manner
Uploads manual adjusting entries from various units to the accounting system
Assists in report mapping and other efforts related to report automation
Responsible for providing calculations and analysis as required on an ad-hoc basis
Helps in the testing and implementation of new systems
Aids in formulating accounting policies and processes related to new and existing products and regulatory requirements
Must haves
Regulatory reporting experience of at least 1-2 years
Certified Public Account is preferred
Strong background on banking products and regulations as well as the related financial reporting standards
High proficiency in Excel
Ready to adapt to new technologies to increase productivity
Good verbal and written communication skills as liaising with various units within the bank and regulators is necessary part of the job
Strong problem-solving skills
