Job Title: Regulatory Compliance Officer (Contract)
Location: Dubai, UAE
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Compliance Officer to support our compliance function in Dubai. This role is responsible for ensuring the organisation’s adherence to applicable regulatory requirements, with a strong focus on UAE regulations. The successful candidate will play a key role in liaising with regulators, interpreting regulatory developments, and ensuring effective communication and implementation of new policies across the business.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and interpret regulatory developments from the UAE Central Bank and other relevant authorities
• Act as a key point of contact for regulatory bodies, including managing communications and requests
• Support regulatory reporting and ensure timely and accurate submissions
• Assess the impact of new and evolving regulations on the business
• Develop, update, and implement compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements
• Communicate regulatory changes clearly to internal stakeholders and provide practical guidance
• Support the business in embedding regulatory requirements into day-to-day operations
• Assist with regulatory inspections, audits, and reviews
• Provide training and awareness on regulatory compliance obligations
Requirements
• Proven experience in a Regulatory Compliance role within financial services
• Strong knowledge of UAE regulatory frameworks, particularly Central Bank requirements
• Experience engaging directly with regulators and managing regulatory communications
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and implement regulatory changes
• Experience drafting and updating policies and procedures
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
