Job Description

Regulatory Associate - Pagero

Are you ready to tackle the complexities of global regulatory compliance and drive innovation in e-invoicing and tax technology? As a member of the Regulatory Affairs team, you can be a part of our journey as the global leader in invoicing compliance.

Pagero has recently joined Thomson Reuters. Together, we are building the world’s largest, open business network. With our cloud-based network, customers can reach any business, anywhere in the world – no matter how many borders their operations may cross. We take care of the technical and regulatory requirements across the entire order-to-cash, purchase-to-pay and freight processes, to give customers data accuracy and security, transparency, and real-time visibility. All this through a single connection.

Global regulatory compliance with e-invoicing and CTC (continuous transaction control) mandates presents a formidable and ongoing challenge for multinationals. The landscape of regulations governing indirect tax and the application of tax technologies is expanding but often involves a lack of uniformity among different regulatory bodies. This complexity, fragmentation, and evolving nature of compliance requirements necessitates a dedicated and knowledgeable team.

We are seeking an Associate to join Pagero – Part of Thomson Reuters’ Regulatory Affairs (RA) team. The RA team has been instrumental in Pagero’s successful global expansion, establishing our position as the global leader in e-invoicing and CTC compliance. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and critical area of our business, ensuring that we continue to lead and innovate in this essential field.

About the Role

In this opportunity as Regulatory Associate, you will:
Analyze and investigate requirements and legislation in markets that Pagero plans to enter
Maintain and monitor up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements in markets that Pagero currently supports
Create compliance related content, including blogs and updates, for internal and external readers
Collaborate with stakeholders to launch new markets including integration, marketing, delivery, and more departments
Present Pagero’s compliance solutions and relevant business cases to customers, curated for both technical and c-level audiences
Address queries from internal and external stakeholders, ranging from simple to complex

About You
You’re a fit for the role of Regulatory Associate if you have the following required qualifications:

At least 1-3 years of experience in e-invoicing/CTC, tax technology and/or indirect tax.

Relevant academic degree: ex. Business, Law, Economics, or similar with relevant work experience
Fluent in both spoken and written English
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and document information clearly.
Proficient with MS Office, comfortable with agentic AI and other planning and visualization tools

Additional preferred qualifications include:

Knowledge of other languages is highly merited, including French, German, Arabic, Mandarin and more (preferred, but not required)
Experience in ERP, B2B and data integration including solutions such as managed services (preferred, but not required)
