About the Role

We’re looking for a Registrations Specialist based in El Salvador to join our global operations team. While our Sales team identifies the need and our Implementation Managers (IMs) design the strategy, you are the one who makes it a reality. You are the "execution engine" of Numeral, responsible for fulfilling the compliance promises we make to our customers.

This is a high-stakes, detail-oriented role. You will navigate the labyrinth of US state and international tax portals, ensuring that the "white-glove service" promised during the sales process is delivered with 100% surgical precision. You don't just follow a list; you build the systems that make our promises scalable.

Responsibilities

• Promise Fulfillment: Take ownership of the "sold" compliance package and ensure every promised registration and nexus setup is executed accurately and on time.

• The Hand-off: Receive "ready-to-file" packets from Implementation Managers and drive them through to completion across 50+ US states and international jurisdictions.

• Portal Architecture: Own the setup and maintenance of government tax portals, managing credentials and documentation with extreme organization.

• Jurisdictional Liaison: Proactively track registration statuses and follow up with government agencies to resolve blockers—you are the persistent voice ensuring our customers don't get stuck in "government limbo."

• Notice Management: Review and route incoming jurisdictional mail and notices, ensuring urgent tax matters are escalated and resolved immediately.

• Data Integrity: Maintain a "source of truth" for all client registrations and logins—ensuring our internal systems perfectly mirror the promises made to the customer.

• Process Evolution: Identify patterns where "Sales promises" meet "Jurisdictional reality" and help refine our internal playbooks to close that gap.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Operations, Compliance, or Administrative roles. (Experience in a US-facing startup or BPO environment is a major plus).

• Advanced English Proficiency: You must be comfortable reading complex legal/tax forms and communicating clearly with US-based team members.

• Obsessive Attention to Detail: You catch the typos that others miss. In tax compliance, a single wrong digit can cause months of delays.

• Tech-Savvy: You can quickly learn to navigate 50+ different (and often outdated) government websites and portals.

• High Ownership: You don't wait for a status update; you go find it. You take personal pride in "closing the loop" on every task.

Bonus Points

• Prior experience with US Sales Tax or regulatory compliance.

• Experience using modern ops tools (Slack, Notion, Ashby, or Airtable).

• You have built or improved a "back-office" process from scratch.

• Experience in Fintech, SaaS, or E-commerce operations.
